Mumbai : The Chief Minister Shri Devendra Fadnavis today expressed confidence that various projects in the trade, education and health sector will gather momentum due to cooperation from USAID ( United States Agency for International Development ) .
A USAID (United States Agency for International Development) delegation called on the Chief Minister at his Varsha residence. Shri Fadnavis was speaking on that occasion. The Administrative Head of USAID (United States Agency for International Development) Shri Gregory Huygar, and Unites states Counsel General Edgard Kagan and Project Director Katherine Stevens were included in the delegation.
The Chief Minister Shri Fadnavis said that the number of patients has increased due to commencement of Mumbai Kabul direct flight. He informed about Maharashtra’s Cooperation for one thousand megawatt solar power project underway in Afganistan. The Chief Minister Shri Fadnavis also stated that the Government of Maharashtra will also cooperate by participating in the India Afganistan Trade and development program to be held in Mumbai in September 2018.
Shri Huygar said said that they desired to establish close educational and trade relationship with India and Maharashtra. Mumbai is the heart of trade. We are going to invest 100 million dollars here.
The Protocol Minister Shri Ram Shinde , the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Shri Pravin pardesh and Chief Protocol Office Shri Rajgopal Devra were present on the occasion.
