Jalgaon: A primary school teacher allegedly committed suicide, because of the increasing workload in Pimpalwad Mhalsa. The deceased, Aabasaheb Chaudhary (45) was a teacher at the Deshmukhwadi Zilla Parishad school in Jalgaon.
According to the information, Chaudhary was found hanging at a local onion farm on Monday late evening. The owner of the farm, Gangaram Chaudhary, found the body in the morning and informed the police.
A suicide note found in Aabasaheb’s pocket stated that he took the step out of frustration with the increasing workload that the state had dumped on teachers. He was forced to make numerous online updates about the students’ performance. he also said that nobody should be held responsible for this.
