Mumbai: Maharashtra government has extended the deadline for filing the online application for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Shetkari Sanman Yojana (CSMSSY) scheme till May 1.
Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced today at an event in Nagpur. Eligible farmers will be able to apply under this scheme.
Earlier, the deadline for the ambitious loan waiver CSMSSY scheme was April 14. When the scheme was announced the deadline was September 15.
Under this scheme, the registered farmer can avail the benefits like waiver upto 1.5 lakh.
The scheme is aimed of benefiting 89L farmers and costing the state exchequer Rs. 34,022cr. Further if the farmer has cleared his/her dues, the government offers an incentive of Rs. 25,000.
