For digital economy Infrastructure available in Maharashtra- CM Fadnavis

Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, while appealing for large scale investment in Maharashtra, said that opportunities are being created on a large scale in the digital industry and the digital economy today. Maharashtra had already started an effort to provide basic facilities for the digital economy. Through the airport, the Samruddha highway, metro and the road, the state has provided world-class infrastructure.

The Chief Minister was speaking in the seminar organized in the fourth Global Exhibition on Services held in Mumbai for the promotion of investment in the service sector. This global event of service sector was inaugurated today by President Ramnath Kovind. Tourism Minister Jaykumar Rawal, Chairman of the Federation of Indian Industry (CII) Chandradap Banerjee, head of Spanata Media Manik Dawar, Ninad Karape of Aptek etc. participated in this seminar.

Chief Minister Mr Fadnavis said that the road map has been prepared in the state to make a trillion dollar economy of Maharashtra. In this roadmap, the service sector will play a very important role. The service sector currently has 49 percent of the state’s gross domestic product, which we will take up to 65 percent by 2025. Mass manpower is available in the state at large. It will be used properly in the service area. Various policies have been announced to boost the industry. Maharashtra is the first state to declare its FINTEC policy. The geographical location of Maharashtra and Mumbai has become a major center for all types of services.

The Chief Minister said that young people of the state have new ideas and ideas. The state has announced the startup policy to give a boost to the concept of youth. The State Government is working to help people contributing to the development of the country. A legislation has been enacted to establish private universities and to emphasize the promotion of educational institutions and the autonomy of the university. Manpower is an important component of development, so the government is investing more in skill development.

Chief Minister MR Fadnavis said that the development of the logistics sector in the state is increasing rapidly and ‘FINTEC’ policy is an important contribution in establishing Mumbai as the best performing capital. We are paying a lot of attention to the industry without interruption. In this case, special focus on Isis of Doing Business. In the case of Isis of Doing Business, the state has come first in the country in the World Bank ranking. Maharashtra is the frontrunner in the country in terms of doing business. Maharashtra is the first state in the country to have an independent public slide policy.

Mr Fadnavis said that ecosystem has been prepared in the state for logistic services with 12 services areas. To make big investments in the field of services, the state government is doing all possible cooperation and will participate in the service sector as participant in the investment.

Tourism Minister MR Rawal said, large and vast coastal areas, huge forests, Tiger Reserve, there is a lot of opportunity to increase tourism in the state. The State’s historic forts will also be used to prepare a Heritage Policy prepared policy for tourism development. The state government’s current policy for tourism development is flexible and new ideas will be included in it. Soon a single Windows scheme will be launched for the entertainment system in the entertainment sector.
