Mumbai: The State Government will extend all cooperation and funds for developing Ulhasnagar into a beautiful city assured Chief Minister Devendra Fadanvis and said that the issue of displaced persons due Kalyan Ambarnath road widening will be resolved in a month’s time.
He chaired a meeting related to various issues of Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation on Wednesday.
Chief Minister Fadanvis further said that Corporation space is available in the railway station premises for parking and business complex. Making funds available for this parking and business complex will be considered on a priority basis. Similarly, special provision should be made to prepare the plan of the city. The Chief Minister suggested to giving grant to Ulhasnagar Municipal Corporation for roads and other basis facilities.
He suggested that the MMRDA should set up a ‘Waste to Energy’ project on the plot available at Usatane for managing the solid waste generating from Ulhasnagar, Ambarnath and Kulgaonbadlapur towns. He also suggested to making arrangements for Muslim cemetery without any delay.
