Nagpur: Ministry of Energy, New and Renewable Energy of the Maharashtra state, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, on Thursday announced that there will be no load-shedding during Seher and Iftar in the holy month of Ramzan.
In an interview he said, “If power supply is disrupted due to technical fault, it should not be assumed as load-shedding. There is no paucity of electricity. Hence, no load-shedding should be done anywhere during Ramzan,” Bawankule directed the concerned authorities.
Millions of Muslims around the world marked the start of Ramzan from today. Ramzan is a month of intense prayer, dawn-to-dusk fasting and nightly feasts. Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of Ramzan.
